The hip new Long Island City condos at CORTE made Haute Residence’s list of new residential developments with forward-looking and trendy design elements. At CORTE, the homes feature open concept, flow through design meant to maximize airiness and natural light flooding in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. CORTE is the result of cooperative designed by Argentinian architect Dieguez Fridman and New York firm Beyer Blinder Belle, resulting in a unique concept that combines South American style with modern materials. Flow through design tends to emphasize views, and the homes at CORTE feature a panoramic perspective on the iconic Manhattan skyline from across the East River thanks to the building’s proximity to the water and low-lying, Buenos Aires-inspired layout.
