As development in Long Island City climbs skyward, City Realty reports that one building is setting itself apart with its abundance of outdoor space. CORTE, the new eight-story-tall residential building by Argentinian design firm Dieguez Fridman Arquitectos & Asociados and New York-based architects Beyer Blinder Belle, is bringing a collection of one- to three-bedroom LIC condos to the booming neighborhood. The development’s layout and facade were inspired by residential construction in Buenos Aires, which prioritizes spacious terraces and spectacular views, while the materials used to construct the building—glass and steel—are appropriate in the heart of Long Island City.
